Thought for the Month – The Word of Life

Thank you Lord for Thy Word
that you have given me
It tells me all about Jesus
and about eternity
I've met the Lord Jesus
I've made a new start
Since I invited Him
to come into my heart
Now I'm counting my blessings
instead of my crosses
All I have gained
out-numbers my loses
I live with joy
instead of woes
I've got more friends
than I've got foes
I'm smiling again,
no need for tears
He's given me courage
to conquer my fears
My health has more value
than riches and wealth
I'm depending on Jesus
and not on myself.
